Dubai is a perfect place for an active family holiday. There is no need to think about how to occupy and entertain a child; there are many different activities to arrange their time together and have a lot of fun.
Dubai offers enough places to give your child an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. If you go to the city with your kids, be sure to give them a couple of trips to magical children’s worlds – because such places are not found anywhere else in the world! Let’s take a closer look at the most popular children’s holiday spots in Dubai.
Sightseeing tour
You can start with a sightseeing tour of Dubai. Seeing the glittering skyscrapers, panoramic sites, and beaches is interesting even for a kid. Just rent a car in any rental Dubai service (we highly recommend the range rover rental service for better comfort) and enjoy the ride with your kid!
It doesn’t mean that you have to spend your day in a car: Dubai has many green parks with playgrounds where parents can relax freely and children can run around. It is much more comfortable to get to them by rental car than by public transport. Besides that, it is much easier to get to such places like The Miracle Floral Park. It is a magnificent kingdom of flowers, a colourful oasis in the middle of a sultry desert. It is part of the Dubailand tourist area built along the Emirates Federal Highway, which is best reached by car, like almost every park in UAE.
Theme parks
There are many theme parks in the UAE‘s largest metropolis and the surrounding area. The attractions, colourful arcades and entire play areas along with the stunning performances will be interesting entertainment not only for kids but also for adults.
You start with the SEGARepublic Park, dedicated to the games of the legendary company.
It is located in the Dubai Mall. In addition to the park, you will find a three-storey fountain, an aquarium (we will tell you about it later), a zoo, a city of professions “Kidzania” and an ice skating rink.
Kidzania
Kidzania will impress any child. It is a children’s land with adult rules, where your children can learn many useful skills and develop a completely different perspective on the world. And, of course, it’s fun. But for fun and relaxation, kids have to earn it on their own. Kidzania has everything: an airport, hospitals, police, theatre, stores, streets with traffic lights and much more – just like a real city, but in a smaller size.
Legoland
Where will we go further? Of course Legoland! The local Legoland will also appeal to adults. It is located in the grand complex of adventure parks called Dubai Parks and Resorts built on the western outskirts of the city – in the area of Jebel Ali Harbor.
Motiongate Dubai and Bollywood Parks
There are two more amusement parks in the area. One of these is Motiongate Dubai, which has a Hollywood theme. The other, Bollywood Parks, is all about Indian Bollywood, and also would be interesting to visit!
As night falls, it is highly recommended to visit the Park of Luminous Figures in Dubai, it will amaze you with its exposition and fairy-tale of colourful lights. The Glowing Garden has become a real miracle of the Emirates, which surprised the world with handmade wonders of glowing constructs.
Aquapark
Aquaparks should be a compulsory item on the program. Kids would love to splash in refreshing water! Aquaventure Waterpark is a water paradise. It is considered one of the largest water parks in the world. Dozens of rides, water mazes, tunnels, spirals, pools and waterfalls have been installed for kids to ride and splash! Besides that there is a relaxation zone and its own beach, the longest descent of Aquaconda is 210 meters long.
Dubai Mall Aquarium
The Dubai Mall Aquarium, the one located in Dubai Mall, is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records and occupies 2 floors of the mall. It can truly be called a real miracle! There are 33,000 varieties of fish in the depths of the Dubai Mall. By the way, you can make close friends with them: If you wish, take a ride in a glass-bottomed boat and feed the fish.
Unfortunately, one article is not enough to tell about all the charms of staying in Dubai, but we hope that our tips will help your holiday be the best ever!
