If you like messy play, this Goo Goo Galaxy Slurp ‘n’ Slime Goo Drop doll is for you!
Being a doll, it’s now become Indi’s favourite toy.
Bowie Beamheart is her name, and her unique concept is keeping my kids very busy.
Unlike other dolls, Slurp ‘n’ Slime Goo Drop has a soft and see-through body that you can fill with slime via the mouth, then squeeze to make her sick!
I was laughing the other day thinking about the toy makers coming up with this concept.
Of all of our toy reviews, this has got to be the craziest toy concept for us so far…
What’s In The Goo Goo Galaxy Slurp ‘n’ Slime Box?

Bowie Beamheart lands with her colourful spaceship full of the materials you need.
The box contains the following:
- 2 sachets of slime powder
- 5 sachets of glitter
- The doll
- A candy comet (aka a dummy / stopper)
- A bowl for mixing her glittering galaxy slime
- A whisk
- The reGoovinator
- A stand to ensure she stands up
- Some stickers
- A guide on how to handle cute Bowie

The mixing and feeding activities are the kid’s favourite so far, and I like to stand behind them with a cloth to wipe up all the stray slime! 😉
Bowie Beam Heart’s Unique Features

The Goo Drop doll is far from the usual toy.
Bowie beamheart has a see-through body that you can feed with various mixtures of the shiny galaxy slime.
The head is hard plastic, but the body is squashy and empty.
She’s actually very cute looking, with her rainbow ears and rainbow face tattoos!
The Candy Comet dummy was also a fun addition for indi.
The toy is a perfect pick for girls and boys aged five years and above.
Although Indi is just 3, but she absolutely loves everything to do with dolls, so she adopted this one very quickly into her doll family.
So, How Do You Make The Slime?

The mixing of the slime part is the best fun for kids, and it couldn’t be easier.
I had to hide the powder and bowl because Indi (and Fin) now wants to feed Bowie Beamheart at every meal!
There are two slime powder sachets in the box, and you get 5 small sachets of glitter.
We went for silver stars and pink/orange/purple glitter dots.

To make the slime, you add water and slime powder to the bowl and use the whisk to stir up the mixture.
You add the glitter once the slime is of the right thickness and mix until the glitter gets perfectly distributed into the slime.
How To Feed The Goo Goo Galaxy Slurp ‘n’ Slime Doll

When the slime is of a wallpaper paste consistency, you’re meant to slowly suck the slime out of the bowl with the reGoovinator – aka syringe.
Now, I found this quite hard, and I couldn’t get the slime in the tube.
So I used a little teaspoon to load the slime in to the reGoovinator.
That’s probably why we found it so messy, actually!
You then use the reGoovinator to feed it to Bowie Beamheart’s mouth.
The noises the slime makes as it squirts into Bowie Beamheart’s mouth adds to the fun.
The Candy Comet fits perfectly into the mouth to prevent the slime from pouring out when you’re not on a squeezing mission.

How To Make Bowie Beamheart Puke
I do get to write about some odd things! 😀
Once Bowie is filled up, it’s time to get squeezing!
Now this is what Indi found hilarious; she very much enjoyed making the doll spew slime from her mouth!

Refill the doll with the spewed slime, and the fun begins all over again.
What We Thought Of The Goo Goo Galaxy Doll…

Seeing as the kids thought the doll was a joy to look at from the moment it arrived, I knew this toy would be a hit.
The cute design of the massive alien head, large eyes and rainbow details make it look very cute.
The body is a soft silicon which is great the hold, and when it’s filled with slime, it’s even more joyful.
The slime is super-easy to mix, and it’s attractive look with all the glitter makes it fun and interactive to play with.
The size is perfect for all ages to play with, and the recommended age of 5 up is spot on, I think.
The doll is priced at £29.99, and can be purchased in all major retailers.
