Annnnd we’re back with a Peppa Pig toy review!
Whilst lots of parents vocally dispise this little pig family, I have a secret love for them.
I don’t know what kind of person it makes me but I can be often found giggling along to the storylines; mostly at Daddy Pig’s misfortune.
What about the one where Daddy Pig dives into the swimming pool. We all thought he’d make a massive splash, but instead he was a pro diver!
Or when he was boasting about how amazing he was a pancake tossing. But then got it stuck to the ceiling.
Or when Mummy Pig got her book published but it was full of George’s Happy Mrs Chicken high scores.
How about when Peppa Pig phoned Suzie Sheep to ask if she could whistle. And she could, so Peppa red buttoned her.
Mega lols.
Peppa Pig Toy Review

Anyway, due to my kid’s love of Peppa Pig, we have been trying out the Peppa Pig Smart Phone, and the Laugh & Learn Alphaphonics tablet.
Both toys can be found at Smyths; they have an amazing array of Peppa Pig learning toys.
Unboxing The Peppa Pig Smart Phone Toy

Beau is too young (2) to use the Peppa Pig Smart Phone to its full potential, but that didn’t stop him from being delighted by it.
Each number on the phone represents a character in the cartoon, plus a quiz, tunes and simple sums.
Being a Peppa Pig lover, Beau really likes to listen to the different voices in the Smart Phone. He can say “Pig”, “Sheep”, “Danny Dog” etc. along with it.

Indi was also very pleased with the Peppa Pig Smart Phone, and it fast became her favourite car toy!
Indi is currently learning phonics and makaton at preschool, so she is intuitive now about letters and numbers, and sounds.
This Peppa Pig toy review couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, really.

For just £9.99 from Smyths, this toy is really good value for money. Especially as it is a well-known character toy, I think it’s a steal.
An engaging and useful toy for learning, spanning ages between 2 to 4 or 5 I would say.
Perfect for those children who are intuitive around numbers and letters.
Trying Out Peppa’s Laugh & Learn Alphaphonics

Also from Smyths, and priced at £19.99, this brilliant little toy that boasts features that help word recognition, communication, listening, understanding, memory and concentration skills!
The Laugh & Learn Alphaphonics has 7 enjoyable activities, plus sounds and music to make it even more fun for preschoolers.
Beau is starting to concentrate on things for a short time now, so he was pressing the buttons one by one and giggling at the sounds.
He was repeating some of the sounds and words, which was great to hear!
Peppa’s Laugh & Learn Alphaphonics is great for Indi (nearly 4) who has been playing with it every day before preschool.
They have a letter of the week at Indi’s preschool, and she can now recognise which one it is on this tablet.
Summing up …
Two perfect learning toys for Peppa Pig enthusiasts, the Smart Phone and Laugh & Learn Alphaphonics are not only great value for money, but really great learning aids for children aged from 2 – 5.
If you’re looking for more learning toys from this range, there is also Peppa’s Phonic Alphabet and the amazing Laugh & Learn Laptop!
