We love doing toy and game reviews, and the Slap Ninja game didn’t disappoint my ninja-loving tearaways!
This brand new Slap Ninja game by Jakks Pacific (who have some awesome other toys – check them out) is a super simple concept, but creates loads of raucous laughter, noise, screaming and action.
Just as we like it!

The Rules

The rules of Slap Ninja are quite straight-forward, and it’s aimed at 4yrs+ which I would agree with.
One player chooses to become a ninja master and the other player is the student.
The student’s aim is to press the red coin without getting a karate chop, AKA MASSIVE SLAP (it doesn’t hurt – I’m just being dramatic) from the master to win a point!
The master tries to defend his precious coin by pulling the trigger to chop the student’s hand!
Whoever defeats the other by winning three times (coins or slaps) WINS.
What Did The Kids Think Of The Slap Ninja Game

I LOVE this game. I like to get the coins the most because I’m fast.
When can we play again, mum?
Fin, aged 7 (going on 17)
Mum.
I need a wee.
Indi, aged 2
Babblewabbleblahblah.
Beau, aged 1
This is a great game for kids and big kids aged 4 and over.
It’s a really great for all the family, and because the rules are simple and there are no pieces to remember and/or lose, it cuts down on fuss and upset.
The suspense element of the Slap Ninja game adds a competitive edge, which Fin particularly enjoys, especially against his dad and his sister.
Oh, and one great feature…. it comes with BATTERIES already installed!
Hallelujah! I’m terrible with batteries!
Just get the game out and start chopping away.
