The Coffee Subscription Box For Every Tired Parent

I’m a coffee lover through and through, but I must admit something…

I drink decaf about 80% of the time!

YES, decaf.

I can hear you gasping (I’m used to it), but due to anxiety issues, I allow myself only 1 caffeinated drink per day. I really dig CBD (check out canndid cbd coffee) coffee too, which has a lovely calming effect, especially decaf versions.

Anyway, I’m not going to waste my only pick-me-up opportunity of the day on just any coffee, am I?

Welcoming The Rave Coffee Subscription Box

Picture the scene, your toddler wakes you up at 5.45 am every single day, because… no reason.

Then because your toddler is awake, the preschooler can sense she is missing out on some attention, so she wakes too.

Then because your youngest two are awake, you have to creep downstairs not to wake the eldest up unless you want world war three to break out.

Ah, children.

The unofficial reason coffee was invented 😀

And since we are on the subject of coffee. I have a new coffee BFF.

The wonderful people at Rave sent me a sample of their amazing, freshly roasted coffee.

On Saturday at 6am, the Rave coffee subscription box was a lovely treat to open.

Not only because it was the perk-up I needed, but also because of the additional educational pieces to flick through to make you feel like a total coffee connoisseur.

That, and it’s all wrapped up in a nicely packed letterbox-sized… box.

Becoming A “Coffee Whizzkid”

The smell of freshly roasted and ground coffee has got to be one of loveliest of smells, right?

Right!

So imagine the joy of opening a beautiful new pack of fresh coffee every month (or more or less often than that, you choose.)

The roasting date on my coffee was 2 days before I received it! Amazing!

And in case you’re wondering whether this was a coincidence / preferential treatment, here’s what Rave has to say on this…

Here at Rave we check our orders every morning, Monday to Friday (exc. bank holidays), at 6.00 am and make up our daily roast schedule accordingly.  We aim to despatch all orders placed before 6.00 am the very same day.

The coffee grounds smelt chocolatey, rich and inviting, and apart from being wrapped in the coolest packaging, it was a serious treat to open at that early hour.

In a nutshell we simply want to serve you the best coffee you’ve ever had.

Rave

I have a Smeg espresso machine, and it gives me immense joy to stand and make a coffee every day (a few times a day.)

Dripping through the machine was the most intense aroma I have smelt in a long time.

Being in a lockdown situ right about now, everything fancy has to be enjoyed from behind a mask!! It’s nice to have some proper coffee at home and to learn something whilst sipping.
